Student Webinar: The Scleral Lens Encounter

This student webinar was presented on March 3, 2021 by Drs. Karen Lee and Kelsea Skidmore. This basic course is an introduction to fitting scleral lenses, geared specifically for students who are still refining slit lamp techniques and exam flow. Drs Lee and Skidmore work with 3rd and 4th year students and understand how to break down sclerals for the beginner! Check it out below:

Student Webinar: Starting with Sclerals

Watch the SLS student webinar on “Starting with Sclerals”. Drs. Stephanie Woo, Caitlin Morrison, and Greg DeNeayer discuss how they started with scleral lenses in their practice, offering valuable insight to managing a scleral lens practice in different types of practices. Watch this webinar if you are a student who is interested in specializing in contact lenses (especially scleral lenses). All three of the docs are residency trained and key opinion leaders in the field of scleral lenses.

Student Webinar: Troubleshooting Scleral Lenses

Watch the SLS student webinar on “Scleral Lens Troubleshooting”. Drs. Roxana Hemmati, Elise Kramer, and Brooke Messer discuss basic scleral lens complications and troubleshooting. This course is designed for students who have some knowledge and experience with scleral lenses (even if you don’t, it’s cool to check out), and want to learn more about managing the complications that can arise in the fitting and management process.
